2025-26 Tournament of Champions Updates

Registration Fee: $70.00 across all events/tournaments (no additional processing fees)

We’ve set one flat fee across all tournaments to make registration simple and predictable. This update also reflects the true costs of running high-quality events, from facilities and equipment to trained referees and scorekeepers, so that every player benefits from a professional tournament experience.

More Referees & Scorekeepers

We are adding more professional referees and scorekeepers to address ongoing concerns about fairness and consistency.

Reversible Jerseys for All Players

All participants will receive a reversible jersey from OC Youth Sports. Families no longer need to purchase “away” jerseys or custom school shirts, reducing costs and simplifying preparation. This ensures clarity for referees, fairness for players, and a uniform experience across all schools.

New Tournament Format: Pool Play into Bracket Play

We are moving away from “friendly games” to a format that begins with pool play and progresses into bracket play. This change gives every team meaningful competition, ensures fairer matchups, and builds excitement as teams advance.

Team Participation Limits

Each school may submit a maximum of 2 teams per division. This policy helps balance brackets, prevent overcrowding, and give more schools the opportunity to participate.

Early Team Submissions Encouraged

Submitting teams early allows us to finalize brackets and schedules sooner. This gives coaches, families, and players more time to prepare, reduces last-minute changes, and ensures a smoother tournament experience for everyone.

Commitment to Community

$10 from every player registration is donated to Irvine Public Schools Foundation (IPSF) or Tustin Public Schools Foundation (TPSF), depending on the student’s school district. This contribution has not changed under the new pricing structure. It reflects our ongoing dedication to serving the community and ensuring that youth sports programs continue to benefit students and schools alike.
